Ecosystem and biome

The sum total of interaction between living (biotic) and non-living (abiotic) components which is capable of independent -existence is called an ecosystem. Whereas,the complex of several communities in any area, represented by an assemblage of different kinds of plants, animals, etc., sharing a common climate is called a biome
