The difference between the element and the compound is as follows:
COMPOUND ELEMENT
A compound consists of the atoms of different elements which are always chemically combined together in a fixed ratio. It is a pure chemical substance which is made up of the same type of the atom.
It stated by using a formula. It stated by using a symbol.
There is an endless list of compounds. There are about 117 elements that are found and can be classified as metal, non-metal and metalloid.
