Fundamentals are the sound produced by an instrument that is of the lowest frequency.Harmonics are the different frequency sound produced by an instrument that is secondary waves.
The amplitudes of the fundamental will always be greater than the amplitude of the harmonics.The amplitudes of the harmonics will always be lesser than the amplitude of the fundamental.
The sound produced by any two musical instruments can have the same fundamental.The sound produced by any two musical instruments can have the same fundamentals but can never have the same harmonics.
