G0 Phase G1 Phase
1. G0 phase (known as quiescent stage ) is a stage in the cell cycle where the cell is not actively dividing neither preparing itself for division. 1. Synthesis of proteins and RNA needed for DNA replication and cell growth.
2. It occurs after the G1 phase of the interphase of cell cycle. 2. Followed by S-phase in which DNA replication occurs.
