Glycogen (C6 H10 O5 ) n is a multi branched polysaccharide made up of glucose subunits. In humans, it is stored in the liver and muscles of the body. It is the chief form of stored energy in the body of animals.
Glucose is a simple type of carbohydrate which provides instant energy to the body.Glucose is a monosaccharide with formula C6H12O6 or H-(C=O)-(CHOH)5-H, whose five hydroxyl (OH) groups are arranged in a specific way along its six-carbon backbone.
