Grey Matter	White Matter
The main composition of grey matter is nerve cell bodies.	The white matter mainly consists of nerve fibres or axons.
It has a very low number of axons covered with a myelin sheath.	It has a large number of axons covered with a myelin sheath.
It is involved in the processing of information.	It is involved in transferring information between grey matter and other body parts.
