In the homogeneous mixtures, the constituent particles are uniformly distributed throughout the mixture, whereas in the heterogeneous mixtures, the constituent particles are non-uniformly distributed.

In the homogeneous mixtures, constituent particles cannot be seen through the naked eye whereas, in the heterogeneous mixtures, the particles can be seen.

Juice and tea are examples of homogeneous mixtures.

Fruit salad and sand in water are examples of heterogeneous mixtures.
