Lubb sound

  1. The first heart sound is lubb which is produced by mitral and tricuspid valve closure.

Dub sound

  1. The second sound is heard during a heart beat due to the closure of semilunar valves.
Lubb Dup
It corresponds to the ventricular systole and is the first sound heard during the heart beat.It corresponds to the atrial systole and is the second sound heard during a heartbeat.
Closure of the atrioventricular valves produce a fairly loud sound.Closure of the aortic and pulmonary valve produce a comparatively softer sound.
