Meteoroids are small floating rocks out in space. They are smaller objects in space that are formed when asteroids break off into smaller pieces.
When these Meteoroids enter the Earth’s atmosphere at high speed and burn up, they are called Meteors. Meteor are Shooting Stars that we see in the Night Sky.
If the Meteoroids that manage to reach the Earth’s atmosphere and hits the ground, it is called a meteorite.
