Differentiate between natural and artificial radioactive elements.

Open in App
Solution

The elements with atomic number 82-92 are found to radiate spontaneously in nature so they are known as natural radioactive elements. Whereas the elements that are produced in the laboratory by the bombardment of particles are called artificial radioactive elements. These are generally the elements with atomic number less than 82.
