Differences between periodic and non-periodic changes are as follows-

Periodic changes

Non-periodic changes

Periodic changes are the changes which repeats itself after a regular interval of time.Non-periodic changes are the changes which does not repeats itself after a regular interval of time.
For example, Occurrence of the full moon, Pendulum of a clock, Rotation of earth around the sun.For example, Earthquakes, Germination of a seed etc.
Earth rotates around the sun in fixed orbit with fixed time period i.e 1 year (365 days and 4 hours) to complete one revolution around the sun.Germination of seed is not a periodic change because once it is germinated, it cannot be reversed back to a seed .
