Producers are autotrophic organisms that are able to produce their own organic food by photosynthesis such as plants. Plants use the sun’s energy to synthesize organic molecules from inorganic molecules by photosynthesis.

Consumers are heterotrophs they cannot synthesise their own food depends on other organisms for their nutritional requirement. eg, Human, lion, and deer.
