  • Sensory and motor neurons are two types of neurons found in humans. The differences between the two neurons are given below.

Sensory Nerve

Motor nerve

The sensory nerve cell transmits signals from the sensory organs such as the eyes, nose and ears to the central nervous system.The motor nerve cell transmits signals from the central nervous system to the effector organs like muscles and glands.
The length of the axon of the sensory nerve cell is small. The length of the axon of the motor nerve cell is large.
