Differentiate between Simple goitre and Exophthalmic goitre
Simple goitre:
Simple goitre is a condition caused by insufficient secretion of thyroxine hormone, resulting in swelling of the neck region, as the thyroid gland enlarges.
Exophthalmic goitre:
It is a disorder caused due to excessive secretion of thyroxine hormone, resulting in bulging of eyes, increased metabolic rate, weight loss, and breathlessness.
