Physical stateSolute can be in all three state i.e. solid,liquid and gas.Most of the solvent are in liquid state but sometime it can be solid or gaseous.
SolubilityThe solubility of solute depends on the properties of state of a solute .The solubility of solvent depends on the properties of solvent.
Boiling pointUsually higher than solvent.Usually lower than solute.
