Temporary Magnet

Permanent Magnet

1.The magnets which don't retain their magnetic properties for a very long duration of time. 1.The magnets which retain their magnetic properties for an indefinite time.
2.Such magnets are weak and demagnetized easily.2.Such magnets are strong and cannot be demagnetized.
3. Examples are lodestone, bar magnets, artificial magnets made of iron or cobalt.3.Electromagnet is an example of permanent magnet.
