Differentiate between:- test cross and back cross

1. Test cross is an experimental cross of an individual organism of dominant phenotype but unknown genotype and a organism with a homozygous recessive genotype( and phenotype).
2. Back cross is he mating of an hybrid organism with one of its parents or with organism genetically similar to the parent.

Test cross	Back cross
In test cross, F1 generation is crossed with a recessive parent only.	In the back cross ,F1 generation can be crossed with either dominant or recessive parent.
2.All the test crosses are considered as the backcrosses.	2. A back cross can be said as a test cross if the parent is recessive.
