Renal pelvis Renal papilla
It is the funnel-shaped dilated proximal part of the ureter in the kidney and is present on the inner side of hilum. It has projections called calyces. It is the apex of a renal pyramid which projects into the lumen of a calyx of the kidney . Through the renal papilla, the collecting tubules discharge urine.

Excretion Catabolism
The process by which the metabolic wastes from the body are removed by body's excretory system is known as the excretion. The process which includes series of reactions which breaks down the complex molecules into simpler molecules , accompanied with the release of energy.
