1. Canning is a modern method of food preservation where food items are stored in cans or air-tight containers.1. It is a method of preserving food where food items are stored in cold conditions like refrigerators.
2. This method works by heating the cans containing food which kills the microorganisms responsible for spoiling of the food. This is done by maintaining high temperature for a specific time duration. 2. This method works by inhibiting the growth of microorganisms like bacteria, yeast and moulds.
