Chloroplast are the green plastids as they have a green pigment called chlorophyll.	Chromoplasts are the colored plastids.
Chloroplasts are present in the leaves.	Chromoplasts are present in fruits and vegetables.
Chloroplast helps in the preparation of food for the plants i.e. in photosynthesis.	Different colors to the fruits and vegetables is because of the presence of chromoplast.
