Differentiate between the following: Condensation and Sublimation
Condensation | Sublimation |
Condensation is a process in which a gaseous state changes into the liquid state by the release of heat energy. | Sublimation is a process in which a solid state directly changes into the liquid state without undergoing the gaseous state on the absorption of heat energy. |
For Example: The change of water vapour in the surrounding to liquid water while coming in contact of any cold surface is an example of condensation. | For Example: Camphor balls kept in our clothes vanishes after a time as it changes from solid state directly to gaseous state. This is what is sublimation. |
