Differences between laminated and safety glass are as follows:

Safety glass

1. Laminated glass is a type of safety glass.1. Safety glass is a glass that shatters to a lesser extent than ordinary glass and provides safety against damage.
2. Laminated glass is formed by sandwiching a layer of plastic sheet between two layers of glass. This allows all the broken pieces of glass to stay together even when it is hit.

2. It is of various types.

Examples: Toughened glass, Laminated glass.

3. It is also known as bulletproof glass as it is bullet resistant. Many layers of laminated glass are combined to provide safety against bullet.3. It is also known as shatterproof glass as it does not shatters into pieces when broken.
4. It is used in wind screens of aeroplanes and cars.4. It is used in automobiles, window panes of homes, shower doors etc.
