Freezing

The process in which solids change to a liquid is called melting. The process of liquid water changing to solid ice is called freezing.
The melting point is the temperature at which solids change to a liquid.The temperature at which liquid changes to solid is called the freezing point.
Example: Ice cubes when taken out from the freezer and placed at room temperature, it changes into a liquid. So here the ice cube melts to form water.This is an example of melting.Example: Water filled in an ice cube tray when kept in the freezer changes into solid. So here is the water freezer to form ice cubes.This is an example of freezing.
