Platelets ​	White blood cells (WBC)​
The platelets also called thrombocytes, which are oval or round in shape and smallest in size.​	The WBC also called leukocytes which are irregular in shape, colourless and lack haemoglobin​
The platelets help in the clotting of blood, which prevents excessive blood loss.​	The main function of WBCs is to protect the body from disease-causing germs. i.e., provide immunity to the body.​
