RBC (Red blood cells)​

WBC (white blood cells)​

  • They do not have a nucleus at maturity.​

  • They have a large characteristic nucleus.​

  • They are red in colour due to the presence of haemoglobin. ​

  • They are colourless as they do not contain any pigment.​

  • It helps in the transport of oxygen from the lungs to other parts of the body.​

  • It protects us from disease-causing organisms i.e provide immunity to the body.​
