Systemic circulation is the part of cardiovascular system that carries oxygenated blood from the aorta to the tissues of the body and returns deoxygenated blood which is collected by venules, veins and vena cava and emptied into the right atrium.
Pulmonary circulation carries deoxygenated blood which is pumped into the pulmonary artery and passed on to the lungs from where oxygenated blood is carried by the pulmonary veins into the left atrium of heart.
