  1. The bicuspid or mitral valve that is also known as the left atrioventricular valve is located between the left atrium and the left ventricle.
  2. The tricuspid valve that is also known as the right atrioventricular valve is located between the right atrium and the right ventricle.
  3. The difference between the bicuspid valve and tricuspid valve based on their function is shown below:
