Differentiate between the size of the image formed by concave, convex and plane mirror ?

1. Plane mirror:-

image:-

• is always virtual and erect
• size is same as the object size.
• distance is equal to the object distance.(i.e. u=v)
• formed is laterally inverted .

2.Concave mirror:-

image:-

• is mostly real and inverted
• could be of smaller size or of same size or of larger size of the object.
• 3.Convex mirror:-

image:-

• is virtual and erect
• size is diminished or highly diminished
