Differences between the Supreme Court and High Courts in India are
1. There is only one Supreme Court. There are 25 High Courts.
2. The Supreme Court has jurisdiction all over the country. The jurisdiction of High Court is restricted to a particular state or region.
3. Supreme Court can hear appeals against the judgement of a High court. High courts cannot hear appeals against the judgement of the Supreme Court.
4. Supreme Court is the highest court in India. Hence, its decisions are binding on the High courts. The decisions of High courts can be overturned by the Supreme Court.
