1)parenchyma

  • cellulose is present
  • intercellular spaces
  • living cells
  • nucleus and vacuoles are found in soft parts
  • provides temporary support
  • large and thin - walled cell
  • oval or spherical

2)collenchyma​​​​​​

  • -cell wall is thick at the corners due to the deposition of pectin
  • -elongated
  • -thickened with cellulose
  • -no intercellular spaces
  • -provides flexibility
  • -provides mechanical support
3)sclerenchyma
  • cell wall is thick due to deposition of lignin.
  • long and narrow cells
  • dead
  • no intercellular spaces
  • provides strength
