1) They are called erythrocytes. 1) They are called leucocyytes.
2) Its main function is to carry oxygen from the lungs to the body tissues and carbon dioxide (the waste product) away from the tissues and back to the lungs. 2) They are the cells of the immune system which help to protect the body against infectious disease and foreign invaders.
