differentiate between thoracic and abdominal cavity

The cavity which is present above the diaphragm is known as the thoracic cavity and the cavity present just below the diaphragm is known as the abdominal cavity.That is the diaphragm separates both the cavities.The organs such as lungs, heart etc are present in the thoracic cavity where as the abdominal cavity have organs such as stomach, intestine, liver,pancreas etc.
