Evaporation is the loss of water vapour from any surface which has water.
Transpiration Evaporation
1. It is the loss of water vapour from the aerial parts of the plants. 1. It is the loss of water vapour from any wet surface and water bodies also.
2. It is both physical process and vital phenomenon as it is necessary for the life. 2. It is purely a physical phenomenon only.
3. It is dependent on both external (like temperature, humidity, light intensity, etc) and internal factors (like leaf area, number of stomata in leaf, side of the leaf, etc). 3. It depends only on external factors like temperature, humidity, light intensity, etc.
