Xylem	Phloem
The tubular-shaped structure of xylem tissues is devoid of cross walls.	Phloem tissues are tubular-shaped, elongated structures with thin sieve tubes on the walls.
It delivers the water and minerals in the upward direction in the plants.	It delivers food in both upward and downward directions in plants.
