Acidic and basic amino acids

Amino acids are the fundamental building blocks of proteins containing an amino group (NH2) and a carboxyl group (-COOH). The acidic amino acids contain an additional carboxyl group m their structure, whereas,the basic ammo acids contain an additional amino group m their structure.
