Let y=cotx

=>y=cosxsinx

let u=cosx and v=sinx

now,differentiate w.r.t x
=>dydx=cosxsinx

Now this is in the form of y=uv
then,,
y=uvvuv2

now,

=>y=sinx×sinxcosx×cosxsinx

=>(sin2x+cos2x)sinx2

=>1sn2x

=>cosec2x

differential of cotx is cosecx

now,
2cosec2x=2(cosecx)

=>2coscex





(ii.)$
=>y=cosx


dydx=cosx

=>sinx×12x
