The correct option is B 13
Observe the 3rd row of multiplication
3 X B = 3 so B = 1
Observe row 1 of multiplication
D X 2 + carry one = 5 so D = 2
F = 2 and O = 2
Observe row 2 of multiplication
C X A = 6 or 16
for C X A to be 6, A and C take value 6 and 1 respectively to meet the conditions but the multiplication brings 7 in the 3rd row. So we discard 6 and for 16
A = 8 and C = 2
Putting values accordingly,
we get values as given in above solved multiplication.
Sum of the digits of 1st Row = 5+6+2 = 13
Option B.
