The table given below shows the average speed (in km/hr) of Mr. Sharma's truck on the five weekdays. Some of the data is missing.

The truck started with its usual speed on Tuesday but when half of the distance was covered, there was a breakdown due to which the truck travelled at $\frac{5}{13}ths$ of its usual speed. Find the additional time taken (in hours) to cover the same distance.

Time for which Mr. Sharma travelled on Tuesday = $\frac{520}{52}=10hrs$

Time for which Mr. Sharma travelled on Thursday = $\frac{340}{68}=5hrs$

Time to travel half the distance on Tuesday = $\frac{10}{2}=5hrs$

After breakdown, speed = $52\times \frac{5}{13}=20km/hr$

Time taken after breakdown to travel the remaining distance = $\frac{260}{20}=13hrs$

Additional time taken = 13 – 5 = 8 hrs
