The correct option is A 40%
1. Number of students going for a job in 2005
=20000×(72.5/100)×(80/100)=11600
Number of students going for a job infor 2007
=24000×(75/100)×(90/100)=16200

The percentage increase in the number of students going for a job from 2005 to 2007 is= (16200 - 11600) × 100/11600 = 39.65%.

Hence, option A is correct.
