The table given below shows the number of female visitors to an amusement park on 5 days – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and the percentage of male visitors out of the total number of visitors.


On Tuesday, 30% of the male visitors were children and on the same day 70% of the female visitors were children. Find the total number of children who visited the amusement park on Tuesday.

The correct option is A More than 1100 but less than 1150

For Sunday,

Total number of visitors =$\frac{720}{(100-55)}=1600$

Number of male visitors = 1600 – 720 = 880

Similarly,

Required answer = 30% of 1170 + 70% of 1080 = 351 + 756 = 1107

Hence, the answer is option A.
