Direction: Study the following information carefully to answer the questions that follow.
Rakesh borrowed Rs 15000 from bank A at an interest rate of 12% per annum
compounded half-yearly for one year and Dheeraj borrowed Rs 18000 from bank A at
9% rate of simple interest per annum for two years. Saksham borrowed Rs 20000 from bank B on which 10% compound interest per annum is charged in the first year and 10% interest compounded half-yearly is charged in the second year.
At the end of the first year, if Dheeraj borrowed Rs 12000 more from the same bank at the same rate of interest for one year only, then what amount would he pay as interest at the end of the second year from the beginning?
