Solution

The correct option is A Rs. 1628.16
Amount invested by Gautam =32000×40100=Rs.12800

Amount invested by Rudra =32000×60100=Rs.19200

Now, applying rule (x+y+xy100)

Rate of interest =12+12+12×12100=25.44%

Required difference in interest earned by Rudra and Gautam.

=19200×25.4410012800×25.44100

=4884.483256.32=Rs.1628.16
