All the roads of a city are either perpendicular or parallel to one another. The roads are all straight. Roads A, B, C, D and E are parallel to one another. Option (2) : The distance between C and D is 114 that is less than 1.5 km.
Option (3) : The distance between E and B is 14 km and that of between C and E is 14 km. Therefore, sum of differences between E and B and E and C is 14+14=12 km, therefore it is also used.
Option (4) : The distance between A and E is 34 km that is less than 1 km therefore it is correct.
Hence, the required answer is (A).
