Directions:- Study the following information carefully to answer the question given below.

Each of the five friends A, B, C, D and E scored different marks in an examination. B scored more than both C and D. A secured more than B but less than E. C did not score the minimum marks. The one who scored second highest marks scored 91 and the one who scored lowest scored 73 marks.

If C scored 15 marks less than A's marks, then which of the following can be B's score?

The correct option is B 83
We have in total five friends A, B, C, D and E who scored different marks in an examination.
According to the question,
B scored more than both C and D
B > (C and D)
A scored more than B but less than E
A > B and E > A
C did not score the minimum marks
From the above information, we get
E > A > B > C > D
Since the second highest mark is scored by A,
So, A scored 91 marks
Since D scored the lowest mark, so mark scored by D is 73,
A scored 91 marks and C scored 15 marks less than A's mark.
So, marks of B is between 76 and 91.
