In terms of entropy, If there is an increase in entropy, i.e. S is +ve then reaction will be spontaneous. If S is -ve then reaction will be non- spontaneous.In terms of Gibb's function, G is -ve for spontaneous reactionG=+ve for non-spontaneous reaction.
