2. Respiration is a process that takes place in both plants and animals.
3. One type of respiration is cellular respiration in which we take in oxygen which is transported to each part of the cell and with that help, the food is broken down which releases energy in the cell and carbon dioxide this type of respiration is known as cellular respiration.
4. Respiration in plants takes place by the process of photosynthesis in which plants make their food with the help of chlorophyll and sunlight it takes in carbon dioxide and with the help of that food is broken down and energy is released along with oxygen gas.
5. Air is required for the burning of the substances for example if you have to burn fuel you require oxygen and for various substances, other gases are required.
