Solution

Explanation: 2Marks
Stating Unit: 1 Mark

The law of conservation of momentum states that when two objects collide in an isolated system, the total momentum before and after the collision remians equal. This is because the momentum lost by one object is equal to the momentum gained by the other. In other words if no external force acting on a system, its net momentum gets conserved. The unit of momentum is in S.I system kg .m/s or simply NS.
