Discuss the positive and negative aspects of the Bolshevik government on soviet union and its people.

Some of it's positives were as:
By making use of the power the Bolsheviks issued a series of revolutionary decrees that ratified peasants' seizures of land and workers' control of industry.The also abolished legal class privileges not only this they nationalised the banks; and set up revolutionary tribunals in place of the courts
It negatives were that enormous part of the population and resources of the Russian Empire was lost during the revolution and during the signing of the treaties.
