Solution: The Right to Equality ensures equality for all the citizens.

Its various provisions are;
  • Every citizen is equal in the eyes of law- A common citizen or a famous politician both will be given the equal treatment before the law.
  • There will be no discrimination against any citizen on the basis of caste, colour, religion, gender or place of birth.
  • Every citizen gets equal access to public places like malls, common village wells, temples, shops and parks.
  • Every citizen gets equal opportunities in matters of public employment regardless of their caste, religion, gender, economic status or place of birth.
  • The practice of untouchability which was discriminatory towards people of lower castes and denied them social interactions has been banned and its practice has been made a punishable offence.
