This type of leaf is attached to the stem directly with the help of the petiole.
Various leaves arise from the mid-vein which is attached to the stem with the help of the petiole.
Stipules can be observed at the bottom of the leaf.
Stipules are present at the bottom of the mid-vein and not at the base of every leaf.
It has a single blade attached to the stem
It has a mid-vein attached to the stem which contains many leaflets. This type of arrangement is divided into two subdivisions- Pinnately compound leaves and Palmately compound leaves.
The plant having this type of leaves are guava, black gum tree, etc.
Plants containing this type of leaf arrangement are neem, rose plant, etc.
